A Question about Dengue Fever
by Charisma Albinda
First I had fever almost 4 days. I was alarmed at that time (august 8, 2011) so I went to the doctor. The doctor say that my platelet is still 160, and said that this is normal and that is my fever would continue.
I went back to the hospital another day and my platelet count was only 48, so I'm gong to confined to the hospital. But they don't have any medicine, only the dextrose, ant-biotic, and for the stomach pain.....is this the most medicine that can cure dengue?
Now I'm still here in my home, still seeking for the right treatment for this illness. I'm OK, but still I don't have confidence because they say that it will be back again.
Is it true?
From the editors of Natural Health Strategies:
Charisma, we do hope you're better now. We are not doctors, and cannot give medical advice. We suggest you read Dr. Ana Teresa's advice about dengue on this site. She is a homeopathic doctor with quite a bit of experience with dengue.
If you feel unsure about the advice or treatment your doctor is giving you, it would be wise to inform yourself in as many ways as possible, and seek a second opinion. It's important to find a health care practitioner you trust.
