FDA depressant drug approved to treat cheerfulness is here. This video clip from “The Onion” is one of the funniest spoofs on Big Pharma’s psycho-babble/psychotropic drug trip we’ve ever seen! Unfortunately, part of the reason it’s so funny is that it’s so close to the way they really do things.

The way some educators, pediatricians, and psychiatrists call little children’s high energy levels and difficulty sitting still a “disorder” to be “treated” by psychotropic drugs, who knows? Next, if unhappy or apathetic people begin to outnumber happy, optimistic folks, the "experts" could call the cheerful ones abnormal and say they need to be treated! Wow! A brand-new market for mind-altering substances!
