My Doctor Pressured Me to Vaccinate

It's just natural to trust your doctor. They speak well and act very concerned about your child. They are normally friendly. It's easy to trust them. When you question vaccination, they seem to take it almost personally.

Could it be that it is personal for them? Do they make money on the vaccines? Could be.

In any case, my pediatrician really pressured me into vaccinating my young child and tried to get us to give him all the shots on the vaccination schedule.

He just made me feel bad for questioning vaccination as well as bad because it was like I wasn't trusting him.

He sort of made me feel like he was more concerned about the health of my child than I was. That's not a very nice situation to be in.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Can't have it both ways

Those who claim "herd immunity" can't have it both ways.

Either you receive protection from the vaccine and therefore don't need "herd immunity" or the underlying principle of vaccination is flawed and you don't really get protection from the vaccine and therefore have to rely on a natural process called herd immunity. It's either one or the other.

The vaccine proponents can't have it both ways.

It's Not Easy Being a Doctor

I'm not a doctor, but have many friends who are. From all I can tell, they usually go into medicine with lofty ideals of helping and healing mankind, but in medical school things begin to change.

They are subjected to a grueling schedule and a relentless deluge of conventional medical wisdom that basically breaks down their will and they become whatever they are supposed to be, according to the conventional medical paradigm.

Today, unfortunately, most doctors are actually just employees of the medical insurance companies, either directly or indirectly.

That being said, if you take the time to get to know them you may be able to bring them around to looking more realistically and rationally about vaccines and the issues surrounding vaccines.

But the very best advice I would give is to look for a natural practitioner: naturopath, chiropractor, acupuncturist, Chinese medical doctor, or a orthomolecular practitioner. (There are other natural practitioners and healers if you look for them.)

Find a doctor or medical practitioner you feel comfortable with and who respects your views and your right to make choices. If your prospective doctor doesn't, thank him for his time and head for the door. Try again until you find a doctor who will help you reach your health goals.

Vaccination Pressure

The most telling moment for me was when a nurse said "We need to keep the herd immunity up." Since I don't live as the herd, eat, drink, or think as the herd, I don't feel compelled to be herded by those with less wisdom than myself. Let the white coats herd the sheeple. Trust your inner voice and go your own way.
