Well, Steve, the best thing I can recommend is to not be fooled again. When they or your doctor says, "Oh, this pharmaceutical is safe," your answer should be, "Are you sure? Where are the studies? What does the pharmaceutical company say about their drug on the prospect? What are the warning listed there?" Even better is don't use pharmaceuticals. They are dangerous. They kill so many people. It's now confirmed that prescription pharmaceuticals played a key role in Brittany Murphy's death. The basis of pharmaceutical drugs is all wrong. It's sort of like the foreign policy: Identify the bad guy and blow him (them) up. That's what the pharmaceutical industry tries to do. Only problem is that germs and viruses aren't the problem. We'll always have them with us. The problem is health. We need to find ways to increase health as well as use natural remedies to heal our bodies with.
